Introduction

As a Continuous Improvement Specialist, you will lead and execute continuous improvement projects and initiatives that drive measurable business results across the organization. You will identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, optimize processes, reduce waste, and implement sustainable solutions through data analysis, project management, and cross-functional collaboration. By partnering with leaders across the organization, you will develop and execute improvement initiatives that enhance safety, quality, delivery, cost, and overall operational performance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

The Continuous Improvement Specialist is part of the Logistics/Customizing group and reports to the Manager of Continuous Improvement in Logistics and Customizing, Americas. This position bears full responsibility for all agreed upon goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze Processes: Review and assess company processes and procedures to identify areas for enhancement.
  • Develop Strategies: Create and implement process enhancement strategies to improve operational efficiency.
  • Project Management: Plan, lead, and execute small to large-scale continuous improvement projects from charter through implementation, sustainment, and project closeout.
  • Investigate Issues: Analyze shortfalls, issues, and complaints related to current business processes to develop effective solutions.
  • Lead Change Management: Support organizational change by communicating project objectives, facilitating adoption of new processes, and promoting continuous improvement best practices.
  • Monitor Performance: Track staff performance and organizational processes, ensuring alignment with improvement goals.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work with various stakeholders to boost productivity and enhance employee satisfaction.
  • Support Technology & Automation: Assist in the evaluation and implementation of automation and technology solutions that improve operational efficiency and accuracy.

Required Expertise

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in Logistics/Manufacturing operations & process improvement
  • Proven ability to implement Lean Manufacturing principles and facilitate organizational change
  • Strong project management, facilitation, and analytical skills
  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook), particularly Excel
  • Strong attention to detail, follow-up, organizational, planning skills and a team player
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation and interpersonal communication skills

Compensation & Benefits

Belimo is committed to paying all employees in a fair, equitable and transparent manner. The base pay for this position ranges from $70,000 - $80,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 10% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
