Introduction
The Data Center Global Supply Readiness Specialist supports the Data Center Global Supply Readiness Manager in monitoring and coordinating global supply chain activities from sourcing through delivery for Belimo’s designated Data Center key customers. This role works closely with the Global Data Center Team, Global Supply Chain teams, Product Management, Customer Service, Factories, Planning, and Procurement to maintain supply visibility, coordinate readiness activities, identify risks, and provide timely clarification regarding large delivery quantities. The Specialist analyzes supply and demand information, maintains accurate reporting, follows up on action items, and supports recommendations that improve supply efficiency and minimize unnecessary transportation.
The Data Center Global Supply Readiness Specialist reports to the Data Center Global Supply Readiness Manager and is part of the Production Americas organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain current knowledge of Belimo Data Center Pure Play and Partial Play customers, including customer requirements, demand assumptions, and supply plans.
- Support coordination with the Global Data Center, Global Planning, Global Supply Chain, Procurement, Product Management, Customer Service, Production, Customizing Centers, and DC Innovation teams to track opportunities, product requirements, deliverables, risks, and mitigation actions.
- Analyze demand, supply, inventory, capacity, and delivery data; identify potential shortages or bottlenecks; and escalate risks to the Data Center Global Supply Readiness Manager with supporting details.
- Prepare and maintain regular reports, dashboards, trackers, and customer-specific supply updates to provide clear visibility to internal stakeholders.
- Track mitigation actions, owners, and due dates, and follow up with cross-functional stakeholders to support timely closure.
- Support the Planning team in maintaining visibility to planning reserves and inventory levels for Data Center Pure Play customers.
- Assist with preparation for internal reviews and customer meetings by compiling accurate supply chain information, open risks, and delivery updates.
Required Expertise
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, planning, procurement, operations, or a related field; global supply chain experience preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, operations, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Excel; experience creating operational reports or dashboards preferred.
- Working knowledge of supply chain processes from supplier through factory to customer.
- Ability to analyze demand and supply data, identify potential bottlenecks, document findings, and support mitigation activities.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and follow through on action items.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across functions, factories, and regions.
- Ability to operate effectively in a global, cross-functional environment and escalate issues appropriately.
- Willingness to travel (approx. 5%)

Compensation & Benefits
Belimo is committed to paying all employees in a fair, equitable and transparent manner. The base pay for this position ranges from $80,000 - $95,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 10% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
