Summary
The Facility Services Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating all onsite facility service operations at our Danbury, CT location. This role oversees a diverse set of internal teams—including Facility Maintenance, the Bistro (cafeteria) staff, Physical Security, and the Machine Shop—as well as managing external vendors who support building upkeep, such as janitorial services, landscaping, and other contracted partners. The ideal candidate is a hands- on, people-focused leader who thrives in a dynamic environment and ensures the site remains safe, efficient, and welcoming for all employees and visitors. The Facility Services Manager reports directly to the Danbury Operations Manager, and is fully accountable for achieving the established goals and objectives.
What You'll Do
- Provide daily leadership, direction, and support to the Facility Maintenance, Bistro, Physical Security, and Machine Shop teams.
- Develop staffing plans, oversee scheduling, and ensure adequate coverage across all service areas.
- Foster a positive, collaborative culture focused on safety, service quality, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Manage relationships with external service providers, including cleaning crews, landscapers, waste management, and other facility-related vendors.
- Oversee access control systems, emergency response procedures, and incident reporting.
- Develop and manage the facility services budget, including labor, maintenance, and vendor contracts.
- Track key performance metrics and provide regular updates to leadership.
Who You Are
- Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in facility management, operations, or a related field; experience managing multiple service functions preferred.
- Proven leadership experience with cross-functional teams.
- Strong understanding of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, life safety).
- Experience with vendor management.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, OSHA standards, and emergency response procedures.
- Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments is a plus.

Belimo is committed to paying all employees in a fair, equitable and transparent manner. The base pay for this position ranges from $120,000 - $140,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 15% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
