Head of IT Americas

Summary

The Head of IT Americas is responsible for leading the IT Application and the IT Infrastructure teams with focus on Belimo Americas and global IT teams and IT functions located in Danbury.
In this role, the Head of IT Americas works closely with the IT teams in Switzerland and the local IT team to ensure the IT requirements of the market region Americas are met.

What You'll Do

•    Lead the IT Application and IT Infrastructure teams in Danbury.
•    Hold leadership responsibility for all IT employees (including global IT teams and IT functions) in Danbury.
•    Ensure a stable, secure, and resilient IT operation.
•    Ensure that requirements by the business operations in the Americas are clear, aligned in the global Belimo context, and met. Work closely with the Business Managers to achieve this goal.
•    Closely cooperate with the IT teams in Switzerland, represent the IT agenda and IT requirements of Belimo Americas in the global context, work on global harmonization initiatives and drive the implementation at Belimo Americas.
•    Support process owners and key users in the business operation actively to improve standardization and optimization for both process and data management aspects.
•    Ensure 2nd Level Support of the application portfolio, specifically SAP ERP, SAP EWM, SAP BW/SAC, EDI and various other business critical systems and processes.
•    Provide project lead or support for evaluation, acquisition, and implementation of enhanced or new functionalities.
•    As part of the global IT Leadership team: 
o    Participate actively in the creation, improvements and implementation of the IT strategy, the global IT standards, and IT processes for the entire IT organization. Fulfill the business-oriented vision of OneIT.
o    Representing the region Americas in the IT Leadership team.
•    Ensure that the global IT strategy, IT standards and IT processes are adhered to in Belimo Americas.
•    Coach, motivate and challenge the IT team promoting a work environment of strong service attitude, open communication, and accountability. Encourage professional growth and reward outstanding performance.

Who You Are

•    Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent career experience.
•    > 10 years of experience as an IT Applications or IT Manager.
•    > 10 years of exposure to ERP environments, preferably SAP.
•    Good business acumen and proven ability to build the bridge between business requirements and the application environment.
•    At ease in international teams.
•    Strong leadership skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate subordinates. 
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•    Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with all levels in the organization.
•    Experience working in an industrial manufacturing company with business-critical logistics is a plus.
•    Project Management experience is a plus.

Belimo is committed to paying all employees in a fair, equitable and transparent manner. The base pay for this position ranges from $180,000-$195,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 20% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
