Introduction

The Inventory Control Coordinator supports inventory accuracy throughout the warehouse network by completing inventory verification activities, investigating discrepancies, and reconciling physical inventory with system records. The role supports cycle counts and physical inventories and verifies that inventory movements are accurately recorded in SAP and warehouse management systems. The position also supports material traceability, internal and external inventory transfers, quality investigations, corrective actions, and proper inventory documentation while maintaining a safe and compliant workplace.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform cycle counts, inventory verification, and physical-to-system reconciliation activities.
  • Investigate inventory discrepancies, support root cause analysis, and escalate recurring issues.
  • Support physical inventory planning, preparation, execution, and follow-up.
  • Verify inventory movements, material traceability, and transaction accuracy in SAP, EWM, and warehouse management systems.
  • Audit storage locations for inventory accuracy, proper material placement, and process compliance.
  • Support inventory transfers between internal and external storage locations.
  • Review aging inventory and assist with inventory disposition, quality investigations, and corrective actions.
  • Maintain inventory records and supporting documentation, validate inventory data, and assist with reporting.

Required Expertise

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 2–5 years of inventory control, warehouse operations, or supply chain experience.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Experience using SAP, EWM, WMS, or a comparable inventory management system
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to investigate discrepancies and determine root causes
  • Ability to lift up to 44 lbs. (20 kg)
  • Ability to operate material handling equipment, including a forklift or turret truck, when trained and authorized
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, time constraints, and deadlines with initiative and a sense of urgency
  • Ability to work safely and maintain a clean and compliant workplace

Compensation & Benefits

Belimo is committed to paying all employees in a fair, equitable and transparent manner. The base pay for this position ranges from $25 - $28 hourly with a target performance bonus of 7% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
