Introduction
The Data Center Product Specialist supports Belimo’s Data Center market activities through product and application expertise, customer and field-sales support, and cross-functional coordination. The position works with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Customer Service, Planning, Procurement, Quality, Marketing, and global teams to help address customer requirements and support the commercial success of Belimo solutions in Data Center applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide product and application support for Data Center customers, OEM partners, key accounts, and the Belimo sales organization.
- Assist with product selection, technical inquiries, quotations, specifications, and customer-specific requirements.
- Support Data Center product openings, special requests, samples, documentation needs, and related internal coordination.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, Procurement, Customer Service, Quality, Marketing, and global Product Management to obtain accurate responses and maintain progress on open requests.
- Support forecasting, lead-time, capacity, pricing, and product availability discussions by coordinating with the responsible functional teams.
- Contribute to new product development and product launch activities by gathering market input and communicating customer and application requirements.
- Support strategic customer projects, including recurring status reviews, technical follow-up, and internal action tracking.
- Develop and deliver technical presentations, product information, and training for customers and the Belimo sales organization.
- Maintain awareness of Data Center market trends, applications, customer needs, competitive activity, and relevant industry requirements.
- Assist with product lifecycle activities, including product data, launch readiness, pricing input, forecasts, and end-of-life coordination.
- Represent Product Management in internal and customer meetings and provide clear, concise follow-up on decisions and action items.
- Travel as required to support customers, sales teams, training, and industry events.
Required Expertise
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, HVAC, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Experience in product support, product management, technical sales, applications, engineering, HVAC, or a related role.
- Strong technical aptitude and the ability to understand and communicate product and application information.
- Customer-focused approach with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated organization, prioritization, follow-through, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to manage multiple customer and project priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with SAP, CRM, product-information, or project-tracking systems preferred.
- HVAC hydronic systems, control valves, actuators, sensors, building automation, or Data Center cooling experience is a plus.
- Ability to travel as required; passport may be required.

Belimo is committed to paying all employees in a fair, equitable and transparent manner. The salary for this position is $78,000 - $95,000 with an annual bonus up to 10%. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
