Sensor Technology Lead (80-100%)

Summary

We are looking for a motivated professional to take a leading role in the industrialization of advanced sensor technologies for HVAC applications at our site in Großröhrsdorf, located near Dresden. From early concept development to large-scale production, you will help shape innovative solutions that create real customer value and support our sustainability goals.

What You'll Do

• Take technical leadership in the industrialization of complex sensor projects for HVAC applications, from initial concept through to mass production
• Collaborate closely with internal experts and stakeholders across departments such as development, product management, and intellectual property
• Evaluate and benchmark emerging sensor technologies for integration into our product portfolio
• Analyze existing sensor applications and develop innovative concepts to enhance customer value
• Conduct technology scouting and actively transfer knowledge into the organization
• Build and maintain a strong external network with academic institutions, industry partners, and suppliers

Who You Are

• You hold a master’s or doctoral degree in natural sciences, engineering, or a related field
• You have several years of experience in research and development in the sensor industry or a comparable field
• Experience with temperature or air quality measurement systems is a strong advantage
• You have knowledge of systems engineering and stakeholder management (beneficial)
• You are curious about new technologies and sensor applications
• You combine a pragmatic and engaging personality with a strong attention to detail and a holistic view
• You are proactive, collaborative, and enjoy working in interdisciplinary teams
• You have a structured, solution-oriented mindset and strong communication skills
• You are fluent in English; good German skills are an advantage
