Agile Project Manager (80-100%)

Summary

Lead complex software development projects and digital product initiatives from concept to successful release. In this role, you are responsible for driving delivery across agile teams, aligning stakeholders around common objectives, managing dependencies and risks, and ensuring that customer and business value is delivered efficiently and predictably. You foster an agile mindset, enable transparency and fact-based decision-making, and create the conditions for high-performing cross-functional teams. As a key driver of continuous improvement, you help evolve delivery practices, collaboration models and project execution across the organization.

What You'll Do

• Lead the delivery of complex software and digital product projects, balancing scope, timeline, quality, and business value.
• Coordinate dependencies across development teams, Product Owners, architects, quality, cybersecurity, IT, and business stakeholders.
• Drive roadmap execution, release planning, and delivery forecasting aligned with strategic priorities.
• Establish transparency through Agile planning, dashboards, delivery metrics, and reporting.
• Identify and mitigate risks, dependencies, and delivery obstacles to ensure successful outcomes.
• Facilitate stakeholder alignment, communication, and fact-based decision making across all organizational levels.
• Support Agile ways of working and foster continuous improvement through retrospectives and delivery reviews.
• Coordinate product releases, go-live activities, and post-release follow-up to ensure smooth deployments.

Who You Are

• FH/ETH/University Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Several years of experience leading complex software development, digital product or technology projects in Agile environments. 
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Lean, or SAFe.
• Proven experience coordinating cross-functional software teams and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle, release management, backlog management, and Agile delivery practices. Agile certifications are a plus.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, Planview, or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and analytical skills with the ability to influence decision-making.
• Strong English skills; advanced German is highly desirable.
