Summary

As Head of District Energy EMEA, you are responsible for driving the development and growth of Belimo's District Energy business across the region. You define and execute the go-to-market strategy and work closely with customers, subsidiaries, and global stakeholders. Acting at the intersection of business development, application expertise, and product innovation, you help strengthen Belimo's position in district heating, district cooling, and thermal energy metering solutions.

What You'll Do

• Develop and execute the EMEA go-to-market strategy for the District Energy segment, driving sustainable business growth and market expansion.
• Work closely with Business Development Managers and Regional Application Consultants across the EMEA region, providing guidance, support, and coordination in a matrix organization.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including network operators, consulting engineers, OEMs, and strategic customers.
• Define long-term business plans, revenue objectives, and growth initiatives while ensuring successful execution across EMEA markets.
• Collaborate closely with Product Management and Innovation teams, translating market trends, customer requirements, and application insights into future portfolio developments.
• Drive strategic customer engagements, industry partnerships, and Belimo's participation in relevant associations and standardization bodies.
• Foster alignment across Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Training to ensure consistent market positioning, customer success, and achievement of revenue targets.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Several years of experience in business development, sales, segment management, or a comparable leadership role within the District Energy industry.
• Strong expertise in thermal energy metering solutions and a solid understanding of district heating and district cooling applications.
• Proven track record in developing growth strategies, entering new markets, and building successful business structures in international environments.
• Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to influence, engage, and develop teams within a matrix organization.
• Strong strategic thinking, commercial acumen, and capability to translate market opportunities into sustainable business results.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, combined with an entrepreneurial mindset. German language skills are considered an advantage. Willingness to travel internationally (approximately 20–30%).
