In this internship, you will work on the concept and development of a digital temperature sensor based on Single Pair Ethernet (SPE). The objective is to design and prototype a modern, Ethernet‑enabled temperature sensor.
The project is limited to 6 months, is highly application‑oriented and combines embedded hardware development, industrial communication, and system architecture, covering the full path from initial concept to a validated prototype.
What You'll Do
Develop a system concept for a digital temperature sensor using SPE
Derive requirements and design choices:

Select, integrate and interface suitable sensor, microcontroller, and PHY components

Build and validate a functional prototype, including testing and validation
Who You Are

Technical background in electrical engineering, embedded systems, computer science, or a related field

Interest in industrial communication technologies, sensor systems, and embedded hardware

First experience with microcontrollers, digital interfaces, or fieldbus technologies is a plus

Self‑motivated, structured, and interested in hands‑on development with industrial relevance
