Summary

The Internship Embedded Software Development supports the development and verification of embedded software within assigned product and platform-related activities. The role contributes to software implementation, integration, test automation, and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) test environments under the guidance of experienced engineers. The position provides practical experience in a modern embedded software development environment, including software implementation, test automation, HIL testing, software pipelines, and cross-domain collaboration.

What You'll Do

• Support software implementation, integration, verification, and automated testing activities throughout the development lifecycle
• Contribute to Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) testing, test automation, and software validation activities
• Support the setup, maintenance, and improvement of software development pipelines, including CI/CDrelated workflows
• Assist in translating requirements and technical concepts into executable software or test work packages
• Work closely with engineers from Software, Integration & Verification (I&V), Hardware, Sensing, and Platform teams
• Document findings, test results, and implementation details in a clear and structured way
• Contribute to continuous improvement of tools, processes, and reusable software assets

Who You Are

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
• First experience in embedded systems, software development, student projects, or personal technical projects is beneficial but not required
• Structured and reliable working style with attention to quality and documentation
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in an interdisciplinary engineering environment.
• Fluent English skills; German is considered an advantage.
