Introduction
As Global Product Manager Damper Actuators, you own the global upstream product lifecycle of a strategically important actuator portfolio. Working closely with regional product managers, innovation teams, sales organizations, and technical experts, you define portfolio strategy, shape product roadmaps, and ensure long-term business success. You combine market insight, customer understanding, and technical expertise to drive sustainable growth, competitiveness, and customer value across international markets.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and continuously develop the global product and portfolio strategy in alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.
- Translate customer, market, competitive, regulatory, and technology insights into product roadmaps and future growth initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with regional product managers to align priorities and ensure global portfolio consistency.
- Lead product management activities throughout product development and industrialization, acting as a key interface between business and innovation teams.
- Validate product concepts and solutions through customer engagement, market feedback, and field testing activities.
- Develop global value propositions, positioning strategies, and pricing approaches to maximize customer and business value.
- Support successful product launches, lifecycle management activities, portfolio optimization, and phase-in/phase-out planning.
- Monitor portfolio performance, market trends, and key business indicators to identify opportunities and drive continuous improvement.
Required Expertise
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HVAC, Engineering, Mechatronics, Building Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline.
- Several years of product management experience within HVAC, building automation, electromechanical products, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, portfolio strategy, and new product development processes.
- Ability to translate complex market and customer requirements into clear business cases and product requirements.
- Data-driven and analytical mindset with a structured approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
- Self-driven and adaptable personality with a strong sense of ownership, initiative, and accountability for achieving results.
- Strong collaboration, stakeholder management, and influencing skills in international and cross-functional environments.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and the ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
- Passion for technology, willingness to travel internationally (approximately 10%), and strong alignment with Belimo’s collaborative culture.
