What You'll Do

• Lead research and exploration projects from initial hypothesis through to validated concepts, independently defining objectives and managing key stakeholders.
• Develop innovative mechatronic solutions that address real customer challenges, creating and advancing new product and technology concepts.
• Design, build, and evaluate mock-ups, prototypes, and functional demonstrators to verify and validate new ideas.
• Analyze complex technical challenges and derive practical, future-oriented solutions for mechatronic systems, drives, and sensing technologies.
• Plan, execute, and interpret sophisticated experiments and measurements to generate insights and support decision-making.
• Challenge existing actuator and sensor concepts and develop sustainable next-generation approaches for HVAC applications.
• Identify and assess emerging technologies, market developments, and industry trends, translating relevant research findings into future products and applications.
• Collaborate with suppliers, universities, and research partners, support intellectual property activities, and actively promote knowledge sharing across the organization.

Who You Are

• Master's degree in Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline.
• Several years of experience in the design and development of mechatronic systems.
• Strong expertise in mechatronics, drive technology, and system-level engineering.
• Experience working in early-stage concept development and technology exploration.
• Understanding of sensors, actuators, embedded systems, and control technologies.
• Familiarity with automation, and emerging mechatronic technologies.
• Self-motivated, innovative, and able to develop creative solutions for complex challenges.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Fluent English, German is a plus.
