Introduction

As a Working Student Packaging Engineering, you support the development, optimization, and documentation of packaging and labelling solutions across our product portfolio. Working closely with Packaging Engineers and cross-functional teams, you contribute to packaging tests, technical documentation, and sustainability initiatives while gaining valuable hands-on experience in an international environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze and document the status quo of the Belimo packaging portfolio
  • Support the Packaging Engineering team in developing, documenting, and optimizing packaging and labelling solutions
  • Assist in creating and maintaining packaging specifications, technical documentation, and packaging instructions
  • Help with packaging tests, prototype evaluations, sample preparation, and documentation of test results
  • Collect, structure, and evaluate information on packaging materials, sustainability topics, regulations, and industry trends 

Required Expertise

  • Ongoing studies in Packaging Engineering, Packaging Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, Materials Science, Sustainability, or a comparable technical field
  • Experience or a strong interest in packaging development, technical documentation, data maintenance, and testing
  • Interest in sustainability-related topics, packaging materials, regulations, and industry trends
  • Native-level German or German proficiency (B1-B2) is required; very good English skills (B2) are required
