Accountant

Summary

This position operates within the framework of the Belimo Mission, Vision and Values and ensures, within its area of responsibility, compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to occupational health and safety, as well as internal company policies, procedures, and guidelines. The role requires full adherence to all health and safety requirements and active contribution to a safe and compliant workplace. 

What You'll Do

• Accounts Payable (AP) – Process supplier invoices, reconcile supplier statements, and handle employee expense claims.
• Accounts Receivable (AR) – Monitor customer collections and overdue accounts, and support credit control activities.
• Treasury & Banking – Monitor daily cash balances and cash flow requirements; maintain banking records, signatory documentation, and online banking administration.
• Financial Reporting – Prepare monthly financial reports and schedules; support management reporting and financial analysis.
• Compliance & Audit – Ensure compliance with company policies and internal controls; prepare audit schedules and support external auditors.
• Administration & Support – Maintain proper filing of accounting documents and assist with ad hoc projects and assignments as required.

Who You Are

• Minimum 10 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multinational company environment.
• Strong knowledge of Hong Kong accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, treasury, and financial reporting functions.
• Hands-on experience with SAP or other ERP systems and online banking platforms.
• Good understanding of cash management, treasury operations, and payment processing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other standard accounting applications.
• Good command of English and Chinese; Cantonese and Mandarin proficiency is preferred.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, able to work independently, and familiarity with foreign currency transactions and intercompany settlements is an advantage
