Logistics & Procurement Specialist

Introduction

The Logistics & Procurement Specialist is responsible for supporting procurement activities, inventory management, warehousing, transportation, import/export operations, and supplier coordination. The role ensures timely procurement of goods and services, efficient logistics operations, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. 

Key Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions and purchase orders in line with company procurement policies and procedures.
• Source indirect materials, products, and services from approved suppliers and obtain quotations for comparison of price, quality, and delivery terms.
• Coordinate with suppliers on order status, delivery schedules, documentation, and other procurement-related matters.
• Maintain supplier records, contracts, procurement documentation, and support vendor performance monitoring and supplier evaluations.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, including local and international transportation arrangements.
• Monitor inventory levels, support stock replenishment planning, and maintain inventory accuracy through regular stock reconciliation.
• Coordinate warehousing activities including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and timely delivery of materials and products.
• Prepare and review shipping and customs documentation, coordinate with freight forwarders and customs brokers, and ensure compliance with import/export, trade, audit, and record-keeping requirements.

Required Expertise

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Managment, Logistics, Procurement, Business Administration or related discipline.
• 10 years of experience in procurement, logistics, warehouse, or supply chain operations 
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong orgnizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Good commend of English and Chinese.
