Summary

The Product Manager analyses market trends & requirements to define clear product specifications for a product family, which is positioned to have competitive advantage and gain high market share.  He/she manages the projects to develop new products during the Release Process and then the introduction to the market and support and training during the life cycle to achieve optimum sales and profitability. Focus on Control Valves products.

 

What You'll Do

  • Analyze market trends, drivers, challenges and customer needs to support business planning and competitive product positioning.
  • Assist in developing strategic product plans based on market insights and growth opportunities.
  • Manage the full product lifecycle, including creation, maintenance, revision, market introduction and discontinuation.
  • Support new product launches and market introduction plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Coordinate product-related communications and documentation, including technical, marketing and sales materials.
  • Review new product requests and assess competitor offerings, pricing, standards and business benefits with market management.
  • Maintain effective communication with Asia Pacific countries and HQ to align product priorities and updates.
  • Work with sales, marketing and content development teams to implement strategies, support build projects and lead product launch or change processes.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • More than 4 years’ relevant experience in the HVAC industry, preferably with control valves, building controls, hydraulic or hydronic systems.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Proficient in MS Office and work-related computer applications.
  • SAP and CRM knowledge would be an advantage
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and persuasive skills for professional interaction with customers and suppliers.
  • Able to think and act with consideration of networked structures.
  • Skilled in evaluating risks, making appropriate decisions and willingness to travel
