Technical Service Englineer, Indonesia

Summary

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Technical Engineer to join our team in Indonesia. The successful candidate will provide professional technical service and application support for Belimo Control Valves, Actuators and Sensor products, while working closely with customers, consultants, contractors and internal sales teams. This role will contribute to business growth by supporting product specification, technical consultation, training, troubleshooting, commissioning and competitive market analysis. The ideal candidate should possess solid HVAC knowledge, strong communication skills and a proactive working attitude, with the ability to deliver reliable technical solutions and enhance customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

• Provide high-quality technical service and support for Belimo Control Valves, Actuators and Sensor products, including technical market research, requirements analysis, competitive analysis, solution implementation, benchmarking and effectiveness testing.
• Contact and engage consulting engineers, HVAC contractors, utility companies and owners to support annual sales and gross margin objectives.
• Conduct sales, design, application, product and technical training for customers and key decision makers as required.
• Work with specifying consultant engineers and design-build contractors to support the specification of Sensors, Valves and Actuators products.
• Develop technical marketing materials and competitive technical documents to support sales and marketing activities.
• Perform occasional on-site field activities, including commissioning and controls troubleshooting, whenever required by customers.
• Document troubleshooting and problem-resolution steps, identify and resolve customer engagement issues, and escalate matters where appropriate.
• Support continuous improvement of products, services and project quality, including preparing reports, recommendations and ensuring compliance with company policies, HSE laws, OSH regulations and HR code of conduct.

Who You Are

• Diploma or higher qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline is preferred, with 2 to 7 years of experience in HVAC, Refrigeration, or Controls/BMS.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of network protocols such as Modbus, BACnet and others.
• Strong passion for and solid understanding of HVAC principles, with verifiable experience in specified products.
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and stakeholders.
• Proficient in using PCs and Microsoft Office applications.
• Responsible, self-accountable, customer-focused, reliable, flexible and cooperative, with a strong work ethic.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, willing to travel outside the city as required by customers, and possess a valid driving licence in Indonesia.
