Mechanical Engineer

Summary

What You'll Do

• Responsible for Control Valve products of a defined assortment through the whole product life cycle
• Project leader or member of new product development projects
• Identify and evaluate technical risks throughout the development process and utilize risk management tools for mitigation
• Create CAD models & drawings for manufacturing, select materials and utilize GD&T
• Execute design reviews and regular exchanges with team members to share information, identify risks and verify documentation for correctness and accuracy prior to release
• Responsible for new product openings and product changes in PLM/ERP incl. coordination of creation of new configurations
• Collaboration with suppliers to support development projects, enhance product quality & processes and ensure sustainability
• Qualification and verification of new products
• Lead and dispose regional product quality cases
• Initialize and introduce the new valves products in AP markets
• Understand the local needs and collect of different customer groups for future products
• Identify areas of growth opportunity and optimize processes, procedures, tools, methods and equipment to improve the overall quality and efficiency

Who You Are

• B.S. Mechanical Engineering degree
• Mechanical Design Experience (8+ years)
• Experience with various valves manufacturing technologies
• Hands-on experimental testing and analysis
• Experience working in a project-oriented team
• Ability to prioritize tasks and support multiple projects or tasks
• Domestic travels will be required (max. 20%)
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter and highly motivated
• Frequent travel locally
