Introduction

The Team Leader for Production Planning & Control directs the day-to-day operations of the planning and scheduling team to ensure seamless factory floor execution. This role translates high-level customer demand into actionable weekly schedules while monitoring labor, machinery, and material capacities to maximize manufacturing throughput.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Production Control team and System support (EWM Coordinators) across multiple levels (Coordinator I, II, and Senior), setting clear objectives, conducting regular performance evaluations, and promoting continuous development. 
  • Oversee and optimize order flow processes across Belimo Americas, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with production and customer requirements.
  • Monitor and analyze operational KPIs (e.g., OTD, order accuracy, DPPM, system performance), identifying and implementing improvements.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives in collaboration with Customer Service, Planning, Logistics, Customizing, IT, and Automation teams.
  • Support and coordinate complex automation projects, including issue resolution, testing, and integration.
  • Facilitate collaboration between operations and technical stakeholders to address cross-functional system and workflow challenges.
  • Support continuous improvement of the automated processes.
  • Promote and maintain a safe, clean, and healthy working environment (HSSE).
  • Participate in or support regional/global projects in the area of expertise.

Required Expertise

  • Bachelor’s degree required (OR experience listed below)
    • Minimum 8+ years Operation / Automation / Manufacturing Experience 
    • Experience with Logistics automated systems integrations 
    • Experience with project management. 
  • Adaptability to changing technological landscape.
  • Prior experience with SAP or other major ERP 
  • Continuous improvement mindset. 
  • Interpersonal skills; Ability to communicate and be influential with all levels across the organization. 
  • Solution oriented individual with proven problem solving skills throughout the career. 
  • Ability to effectively manage several dissimilar deliverables and prioritize.  
  • Analytical mind-set with eagerness to learning new technologies.

Compensation & Benefits

Belimo is committed to paying all employees in a fair, equitable and transparent manner. The base pay for this position ranges from $97,000 - $105,000 annually with a target performance bonus of 15% of an employee’s annual base salary. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
