Incoming Inspector

Introduction

The Incoming Inspector is responsible for testing incoming goods according to the provisions of the inspection plan and organizational instructions.

Key Responsibilities

• Test (using special measurements) the incoming goods according to the provisions of the inspection plan and organized instructions.
• Communicate information on failed product inspections to responsible departments
• Document all Test reports as indicated via SAP and/or LOGIS ONLINE.
• Work closely with Engineering and Production Management to determine organization of workloads and prioritization of projects.
• Work closely with production planning to optimize resources to accommodate peak production periods
• Support of all quality issues
• Document and maintain records of the quarantined materials
• Coordinate and maintain calibration records for the facility 

Required Expertise

• A.S. Technical Degree preferred
• 3+ years in production inspection/ quality role
• Must be proficient in MS Office
• Must have ERP experience
• Warehouse Management System experience preferred
• Experience with typical inspection equipment, including CMM.
• Strong written and verbal communication required

Compensation & Benefits

Belimo is committed to paying all employees in a fair, equitable and transparent manner. The base pay for this position is $25.50 - $27.50 hourly with an annual bonus up to 5%. Compensation is based on several factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, education and experience.
